IOTA GNJ 3128H is a two-component addition-cure phenyl silicone gel designed for the protection of electronic and precision components. It can be cured at room temperature or rapidly cured by heating, providing flexibility for different processing requirements. The curing process generates no by-products, while the material has low volatility and contains no solvents, allowing deep curing in suitable applications.
GNJ 3128H offers excellent high- and low-temperature performance and can be used continuously over a temperature range of -59°C to 250°C after curing. This wide operating temperature range makes the material suitable for applications exposed to significant temperature variations.
After curing, the silicone gel maintains good elasticity over a wide temperature range and develops low stress. This flexible and low-stress property helps reduce mechanical stress on protected electronic and precision components and also makes the cured material easier to repair when necessary.
GNJ 3128H provides high light transmission and long-term resistance to yellowing, making it suitable for applications where transparency and long-term appearance stability are important. The material also offers good resistance to water, moisture, and aging, providing additional environmental protection for sensitive components.
With its combination of wide-temperature performance, low stress, high transparency, low volatility, solvent-free formulation, and moisture protection, IOTA GNJ 3128H is primarily used for moisture protection of electronic components, internal coating of transistors and integrated circuits, and flexible bonding in optical instruments.
