    Recently, an organic silicon gel named IOTA 6250 has attracted attention in the field of electronic protection.     IOTA 6250 is a medium viscosity, two-component 1:1 mixed liquid flow silicone gel, with a unique addition curing method, and no by-products are produced during the curing process. Its rapid curing ability, starting from 120 minutes without flowing at 25 ℃, can be fully cured in just 30 minutes at 120 ℃, greatly shortening the production cycle and improving production efficiency.

    The gel is transparent, soft, self-healing, high light transmittance and small yellowing, which makes it outstanding in electronic equipment requiring optical performance. In terms of application fields, IOTA 6250 can be widely used for electronic component encapsulation in automotive electronic precision electrical circuits and hybrid circuits, solar cells, sensors, high-power rectifiers, IGBT modules, and optoelectronic devices. It can effectively provide waterproof, moisture-proof, dustproof, moisture-proof, shockproof, and insulation protection for electronic components and assemblies, extending the service life of equipment and reducing maintenance costs.

    In terms of operation, thoroughly mix components A and B in a 1:1 ratio before use. After stirring for 5 minutes, it is recommended to defoam under a vacuum of -0.09MPa~-0.08MPa for 5-10 minutes before use. At the same time, to ensure optimal results, compatibility tests between silicone rubber and substrate should be conducted before use to avoid poor curing caused by contact with specific compounds.

    IOTA 6250 offers two packaging specifications, 20KG and 200KG, to facilitate production needs of different scales. The product needs to be sealed and stored in a dry place for a period of 12 months. After expiration and passing the re inspection, it can continue to be used and is classified as a non hazardous material, which can be transported as a general chemical.
